Fine early incised bulbous club, Victoria. Carved and engraved hardwood. This is an unusual specimen, with shaft and head adorned with finely incised geometric designs and motifs. The conical section at the proximal end encircled with engraved ridges and pecked markings for gripping, old glossy patina. Approx length 62 x 4.5 cm. Provenance: Michael Graham Stewart, London.
