Fine early large nail-headed fighting club, North-East Queensland. Carved and engraved hardwood with nails. The bulbous striking section embedded with numerous old nails, the adzed shaft of circular section tapering to a notched grip, old glossy patina. Approx length 64 x 6.5 cm.
