Fine early throwing club, Victoria. Carved and engraved hardwood. The curving shaft of circular section terminating in bulbous head at the distal ends. With conical section at the proximal end encircled with engraved ridges and pecked markings for gripping, old glossy patina. Approx length 72 x 4.5 cm. Provenance: Private Collection, United Kingdom.
