Coiled basket, Lake Alexandrina, South Australia. Woven plant fibre. The basket is made from fibre using a coiled basketry technique. It has an oval shape with a flat base and straight sides that are slightly warped. A handle extends from the weave on one side of basket and arcs across the centre to the opposing side. Approx length 27 x 23 cm. Provenance: C1910-1920. Colleen Morrow, Adelaide, South Australia. Private Collection, South Australia.
