A carved hardwood Gothic revival Bishop's throne, late 19th century, the high back throne with a pointed arch cresting rail flanked by finials, sweeping arms with circular terminals and quatrefoil piercings, above a shaped and pierced trestle style base. Provenance: formerly in the the Sheriff's Residence, 1 camp crescent, Castlemaine, circa 1854.
