Pair of Chinese Tang Dynasty (618-907) horse and riders, the figures depicted with hair tied in top knot and wearing robes, the horses standing on four legs with head slightly turned, extant of pigment, with Research laboratory for Archaeology and history of Art Thermoluminescence test, Oxford, U.K, height 36.5 cm and 38 cm (2). Provenance: Spink & Son, London, 1990, then, the Estate of the late Fernande Glynn, a well known Australian actress that appeared in classic Australian TV dramas Homicide, hunter and Riptide.
