Chinese Qing Dynasty, 17th century cloisonne vase, mid-late 17th century, of gu shape, decorated with frieze of galloping horses, set between a flared neck decorated with dragon, phoenix and stylised lotus and a slightly tapered circular foot decorated with border of mythical creatures, in tones of yellow, red, white and green on a turquoise ground, four character mark to base, exhibition label to base, height 31.5 cm. Provenance: Private Collection, Sydney, purchased from Dr. Blaxland collection, 1983.
