A Japanese Ko-Imari 'Squirrel and Grapevine' dish, Edo period (1603-1868), circa 1690-1720, decorated with peony blossom to the centre surrounded by squirrel amongst peonies and trelissed grapevines in underglaze blue and polychrome enamels with gilded highlights.
