Federal Figured mahogany secretary, Boston, the slightly everted cornice leading to channel carved pilasters, flanking twin tambour slides enclosing pigeon holes and drawers; the lower part with a rectangular hinged top enclosing a baize writing surface, and four long graduated drawers below, flanked, fitted with original brass oval backplates and ring drop handles and shaped rectangular key escutcheons, all resting on splayed bracket feet.
