A World War II German army officer's dagger with scabbard, 255m blade marked Rudolf Buchel, Merscheid, Solingen. Silver plated pommel with oak leaf motif and crossguard with eagle, Trolon grips in deep amber. Silver-plated pebble grain steel scabbard with two oak leaf suspension bands. Portapee with considerable fraying to bullion cord.
