1921 Australia V England Ashes Tour: Gunn & Moore 'Autograph Regal' used cricket bat, signed in the ownership position, by English test cricketer Henry Makepeace, autographed on reverse by 11 members of the Australian Ashes team including Warren Bardsley, Arthur Mailey & Herbie Collins, and 15 members of the English Ashes touring team including Jack Hobbs, Johnny Douglas, Wilf Rhodes & Patsy Hendren; the English players signing the bat on the SS Osterley when returning to England at the completion of the tour. Henry Makepeace was an English sportsman and double international who appeared for his country four times, at both cricket and football, and is one of just 12 English double internationals. He was selected for 4 Tests in the 1920-21 Ashes series, scoring 119 in England's first innings of the 4th test at the MCG. Australia won the series 5-0.
