A large Chinese crackle brown and underglaze blue and white vase, bearing Chenghua mark, the crackle glazed baluster vase with brown lion-mask handles and archaistic bands encompassing the body and the ringed neck, painted with a group of gentlemen in landscape to the body and with children at play to the neck, with incised Chenghua mark (1465-1487) to the underside.
