A French spelter figural globe mantle clock, 19th century depicting 'Jour et Nuit par Claudius' with two bronzed spelter female figures in draping attire holding aloft a black globe dotted with stars and having Roman numerals and pierced gilt hands, raised on a rectangular mottled amber marble base with lavishly cast foliate and pierced gilded feet, the eight day striking clock complete with key.
