A sterling silver and ivory foundation laying trowel, 1910 Sheffield, with maker's mark for R F Mosley & CoA finely carved ivory classical dolphin handle to a large trowel with bright cut and engraved foliate decoration and borders, with inscription marking the laying of the foundation stone of the Burngreave Unionist club by Douglas Vickers Esq 14th July 1911; hallmarked to trowel and ferrule. Total weight 264g length 36 cm
