A large 19th century quality French figured fruit wood dresser, the upstanding back with two panelled doors enclosing two fitted shelves, upon a base with two drawers and two panelled cupboard doors. Large scrolling steel handle and lock plates, stepped pediment, panelled sides and shaped frieze base. The exotic pale timbers with matched burr panels. 160 cm x 56 cm x 2300. Provenance: Ex the Sultan of Brunei.
