A fine Regency mahogany bookcase secretaire, the upper section with architectural tympanum pediment, above Gothic glazed doors with reeded brass edge, flanked by full reeded column mouldings. The base with secretaire drawer, full reeded column mouldings and matched flame veneer panelled doors with reeded brass edge. Embellished with restrained carved decoration and beaded edges, raised on short acanthus leaf feet. 125 cm x 49 cm x 210 cm. Provenance: Ex Cordy's auction. Ex the collection of Trevor Bayly.
