A pair of Chinese yellow-ground iron-red 'Xi' bowls (Da Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi mark), diameter ecorated with red 'Xi' (happiness) characters on a bright yellow ground. The cavetto undecorated. 6-character Guangxu marks in underglaze blue. Labels of Spink & Son Ltd. Condition: a hairline crack inside one cup of the two, height 6.5 cm, diameter 10.6 cm, height 6.5 cm, diameter 10.6 cm
