A Dominic Labino art glass vase, Labino (1910-1987) was known as a scientist and an artist. Many of Labino's art glass pieces are held in permanent collections around the world. He was a pioneer of fibreglass and his inventions were used in the Gemini and Apollo spacecrafts for insulation purposes in extreme temperature environments.
