A pair of Meissen cache pots, 19th century, each finely painted, one with a continuous scene of a military camp, the other with a hunting scene, in the manner of Heroldt, divided by gilt panels, and flanked by bearded and horned masks, the moulded rim and interior with gilt lambrequins, blue crossed swords mark, press number 8 and incised E174, height 10.5 cm.
