Chinoiserie lacca povera orange painted bureau cabinet, c. 1780, the pair of paneled doors enclosing shelves, above a fall front concealing an interior fitted with drawers, hidden column drawers and pigeon holes, the sliding writing surface set in dummy drawer, above three graduated drawers, raised on bracket feet, height 214 cm width 91 cm depth 50 cm.
