Convict love token, a George III 1797 cartwheel twopence stipple engraved on reverse, reading to the left 'Sb' and at the right '1848', a few small edge bumps and on the obverse is lightly scratched 'Sb' and with several contact marks, otherwise good fine, weight 55.79gm, diameter 40 mm. Provenance: Nobles Numismatics, sale No.125, lot 323, November 2020, Previously Ex Peter Lane collection and exhibited at the National Museum of Australia, South Australian Museum and the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka in Ballarat, Victoria.
