Late 18th century Masonic neck jewel, in carved ceramic or stone (of similar appearance to ivory or bone), of quatrefoil form, incised front and back with Masonic text in a cryptography, reading 'Prepare to meet thy god' and 'A child of god, King of Kings, Lord of Lords,' with further depictions of the moon, sun and stars and 'Gr' within a crown, with a seven pointed star representing the seven churches of the revelation within a laurel, width 9.5 cm.
