A George III English sterling silver coffee pot. A very fine example with engraved armorial crest and attractive serpentine tapering spout with an oval scalloped mount. Heavy gadrooned top rim and a circular high raised double domed cover with stylized acorn finial, plus original ebony handle. Made by Thomas Whipman and Charles Wright of London, circa 1764, 28 cm high, 780 grams total
