Historically depicted with a jackal head, Anubis is the ancient Egyptian god of mummification, height 37 cm, width 30 cm, diameter 18 cm, Hoping her work will 'Create a certain atmosphere, ring a long-lost bell, and help people create their own mythologies', Cornish is a leading figure in New Zealand ceramic Art. Her work has been featured at Auckland Art gallery Toi o T'maki, the Dowse Art Museum, and Gus Fisher gallery. It is also included in prominent collections including Te papa Tongarewa, the Auckland war Memorial Museum, the Wallace collection and Kobayashi collection, Tokyo.
