Two Chinese ink stones, early Republic period, 20th century comprising a rectangular Duan inkstone with a large circular grinding area, recessed within a wave form bands, below a deep shaped water receptacle encircled by a four clawed dragon in relief amongst clouds, and a calligraphy ink stone tablet with gilt character marks and engraved poem to the underside, lengths 15.5 cm, and 21.5 cm
