A Napoleon III ebonised and Gilt-Mounted 'Boulle' serpentine front cabinet circa 1870s, the ebonised top with a recessed and continuous gilt-ormolu moulded edge, above decorative inlaid boulle friezes, the centre with a brass and scarlet tortoiseshell inlaid oval cartouche, half-columns with classical ormolu Hercules masks, and shaped, glazed cabinets on each side, with red velvet lined interiors, raised upon a conforming plinth base, height 117 cm, width 183 cm, depth 53 cm
