Fine early engraved boomerang, Western New South Wales / Southern Queensland. Carved and engraved hardwood. Of convex section with clipped ends, the face with linear, criss-crossed and linked diamond patterns, central band of horizontal zig-zag striations, the reverse bearing fine engraved lines, old shiny patina, length 62 x 5.5 cm.
