A collection of six elaborately decorated barbed spears, Bouganville Island, Solomon Islands. Wood, bone, natural fibre and natural pigments. The whole of the long shaft wrapped with woven red, yellow and black fibre with a carved pigmented design above a knob of pressed leaf fibres the head lashed with barbed bone points, length 289 cm to 335 cm.
