A set of 19th century hand painted ivory intaglio's, signed and dated H M S S 1831 of assorted size, seventeen of oval form and one of octagonal form depicting Apollo, the others depicting various Greek and Roman subjects including Hercules, Lysimachus, Cryus, Sappho, Poppea, Faustina and Scipio Africanus, along with a sow, a horse, a lion and a wolf, mounted in slate within a gilt frame (18), 50 cm wide, 65 cm high
