A 19th century French mantel clock, the ormolu case decorated with florals, wreaths and bows, surmounted with a blue and gilt enamel painted urn, a lion head to each side of the face with captured ring handles, the blue enamel dial with Roman numerals and gilded decoration, the base with an enamel decoration of a classical woman lying with parchment in front of a sacred fire, raised on bun feet. Movement requires securing. 33 x 36 cm.
