A blue and white ovoid ginger jar, Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period (1661-1772) decorated with prunus blossoms against a blue ground of 'Cracked ice' design. The wooden carved cover inlaid with a rounded jadeite plaque. With a carved wood stand, 22.2 cm high. Provenance: Dr. Hyde's collection. An important private collection, Sydney, Australia.
