A white jade carving of a parrot, Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) the recumbent bird with legs neatly tucked underneath, its long curving neck turned sharply towards the back, holding a sprig of peaches in its long beak falling over the finely incised wings, the tail feathers finely detailed, the white jade with very light russet tone, 4.7 cm long.
