A Creamy celadon jade Two-Tier Cong, possibly Neolithic period, Liangzhu culture (circa 3,300-2,300 BC) of short cylindrical square section, each corner carved with a stylised human and animal mask design, the faces divided with a gently recessed vertical band in the centre of each side, the opaque stone of greenish-white tone suffused with russet inclusions, 8.1 cm wide, 5.3 cm high.
