A fine Qingbai 'Lotus' bowl, Southern Song (1127-1279) the bowl has deep, rounded sides finely carved on the exterior with lotus flowers and is covered overall with a greenish-blue glaze which pools to a darker tone around the deeper carved areas and also covers the foot, except for the unglazed mouth rim, 9.5 cm diameter; 6.6 cm high.
