A carved Cizhou Guantai 'Lotus' bowl, Song Dynasty (960-1279) the bowl is freely carved to the interior with a lotus medallion reserved against a combed ground, covered overall in a creamy white glaze falling short of the foot ring to reveal the greyish-buff body, 20.7 cm diameter. Provenance: Mossgreen Sydney, the Peter Elliott collection, 1/9/2015, lot 603.
