Two Austrian gem-set and diamond horseshoe brooches, comprising: a brooch modelled as a horseshoe, centring a line of claw-set circular-cut sapphires flanked by bead-set brilliant-cut diamonds terminating in a tapered baguette-cut diamond, mounted in 18ct gold, width 28 mm, length 30 mm, another decorated with rubies and diamonds, ensuite, width 22 mm, length 25 mm, the diamonds together weighing approximately 1.50 carats, indistinct maker's marks and Austrian assay marks (2).
