A Burmese silver betel nut box, circa 1900, the fine cylindrical lidded box, richly embossed and engraved in the traditional manner with a continuous frieze of scrolls and arabesques framing medallions depicting Burmese mythical creatures, the fitted lid similarly decorated with the Burmese Chinthe lion in the centre and engraved to the underside, unmarked.
