Auguste Moreau (1834-1917), late 19th century with outstretched hands, one holding the torch, a quiver of arrows slung behind him, standing upon a naturalistically cast circular base signed Aug. Moreau, with applied brass plate inscribed 'L'attrait dangereux - par a. Moreau, Medaille d'or' (1896), raised on a waisted circular veined marble base, wired, shade missing. Height 59.5 cm
