A good Victorian flame mahogany chest of drawers by Simpson. R. H. & J. Simpson, Lancaster (1865-1890), the tall chest with side columns and plain top above eight cockbeaded drawers with timber knop handles, with three full width drawers below of graduating depth upon a plinth base and squashed bun feet, with maker's mark stamped on the upper edge of each drawer.
