Schulim Krimper (1893-1971), a teak dining suite, comprising an oval dining table and eight cream leather upholstered dining chairs, 75 cm high, 274 cm wide, 137 cm deep. Provenance: Schulim Krimper was a close friend of the present owner's father. This piece was commissioned for their new home in October, 1962. In the succeeding years, and to better meet the owner's requirements, Krimper replaced the original rectangular table top with an oval design, including leaves. The added space and flexibility meant that the piece could be used for more than just meals.
