A George IV bronze watch stand in the Thomas hope style with gold pocket watch, circa 1820, the central plate an octagonal shield with a circular aperture surrounded by Vitruvian scrolls, surrounded by emblems of war and flanked by a pair of Praetorian helmets on a rouge marble base, includes a later 9 carat yellow gold pocket watch, 20 cm high.
