Kashmiri Islamic manuscript. An antique Quran manuscript leaf in nashki script, one loose folio with recto, 18th century, 16.5 x 9.2 cm, note: this fine manuscript page is purportedly from a broken Quran scribed in Kashmir for the Nawab Amir Khan in 1727. It is of high quality with gold discs marking the ends of the verses and fine sura headings and marginal devices marking the fifth and tenth verses. Provenance: Private Collection, Melbourne.
