14ct yellow gold & silver emerald pin, gold Iberian emerald set top section. With later silver and part gilt pin. Twist wire loop (pin appears to have French Minerva mark), fourteen emeralds (total approx. 1.00ct). W5.8g (total). Provenance: Count Louis de Castelvecchio (1826-1869), Son of King Louis Bonaparte of Holland (Napoleon's brother); thence by direct descent to current owner. Private Collection, ACT (Canberra).
