Posters, 2, 'International Women's Year 1975,' poster advertisement for International Women's Year, 1975. Poster features bright geometric pattern in yellow, purple, green, blue and red, and the International Women's Year logo in black in the upper left; & 'International Women's Year 1975,' poster advertising International Women's Year, 1975, featuring design by Carol Ambrus. The main image is in black and white, and depicts women of all ages and backgrounds growing out of the ground and reaching up towards the sky. The main figure in the right foreground carries her child on her shoulders and is wearing a singlet with the International Women's Year logo on her chest. The title text is positioned across the bottom in black. Ambrus was an active member of Wel, Women's Electoral Lobby which started in the ACT in 1972 and designed several posters for the group.
