A Continental mahogany secretaire a Abattant, early 19th century, probably Dutch, the moulded top above a frieze drawer and fall-front revealing pigeon holes and drawers around a central cupboard, with two cupboards below, inlaid with oval satinwood paterae and with checkered stringing throughout, the canted angles terminating in tapering legs, height 148 cm, width 90 cm, depth 43 cm.
