Pierre Jeanneret, a rare and original King office, or Pj-Si-28D, chair, made for various administrative offices in Chjandigarth, India, 1953-1954, armchair in solid teak with seat and backrest in braided canework, 'Compass' type double side leg assembly with the legs connected by two crosspieces and supporting the armrests, slightly slanted, curved backrest, attached to the seat, 80 x 54 x 50 cm. Provenance: Private Collection, Auckland. Acquired by the current owner from India.
