English bronze 'Candlestick' or 'Lighthouse' scale, manufactured by 'R. W. Winfield Birmingham, no. 170 13 January 1840', marked with ounce weights and pence postal rates, decorative stand. The date shown, relates to when the patent was registered. This was the first model made by this firm. Rare. Provenance: Cavendish Philatelic Auctions November 2008. 8 cm diameter, 16.5 cm high
