Tunbridge Ware single compartment postage stamp box, with the words 'Postage' all carried out with mosaic as on both the top and sides of both the lid and base. At this time most likely made by Edmund Nye who was active c1818-1863. One of the few example of the lettering carried out this way. Provenance: Argyll Etkin, London, July 1996. 6 x 3.5 x 1.8 cm
