An unusual Chinese iron decorated Cizhou jar, Jin Dynasty (1115-1234), potted with a waisted shoulder and inward-turned mouth, decorated with vertical iron stripes. Together with a Japanese lacquer lid, for use as a mizusashi for tea ceremony, and a Japanese wooden box, 10 cm high, 15 cm diameter.
