A monumental boardroom table, 20th century, of Regency design, the top veneered in book-matched figured mahogany comprising eight leaves between D-shaped ends, raised on five tripod pedestals, accompanied by a custom-made fabric cover, 75.5 cm high, 899 cm long, 178 cm wide. Provenance: Bespoke made for the National Australia Bank, and for several decades part of the furniture at the bank's national headquarters at 500 Bourke Street, Melbourne.
